TOWN OF TAOS

RESOLUTION  NO. 2005-22

WHEREAS the Town of Taos has adopted its operating budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005 and,

WHEREAS the governing body of the Town of Taos, meeting in Regular Session this 17^th day of May, 2005 wishes to adjust its operating budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005.

NOW, THEREFORE be it resolved that the governing body of the Town of Taos, meeting in Regular Session this 10^th day of May, 2005, adopts this budget adjustment and respectfully requests approval from the Local Government Division of the Department of Finance and Administration to effect this budget adjustment.

Rescue Refurbishment

            Capital Expense - Ladder Truck                                                             ($   15,000.00)

            Capital Expense - Rescue Refurbishment                                                  $   15,000.00

Comcast Agreement Purchase

Expenditures and other Financing Uses:

            Capital Expense                                                                                    ($       2,044.00)

            Operating Expense                                                                                $        2,044.00

(To adjust the Capital Improvements Fund, this Budget Adjustment Request will transfer from capital Ladder Truck project to capital Rescue Refurbishment project to bring the Rescue truck into compliance with NFPA requirements and transfer from Capital to operating to cover for equipment under $1,000 from the Comcast Agreement purchases.)

(To adjust the General Fund, this Budget Adjustment Request will transfer from capital expenditures to cover operating expense through the end of the fiscal year.)

1999 Gas Tax Construction  Fund (59)

Capital Expense - MAP Camino de Medio TM                                      ( $ 37,000.00)

Capital Expense - COOP 2004-05 TM                                                   $ 37,000.00

(To adjust the 1999 Gas Tax Construction Fund, this Budget Adjustment Request will transfer from  the MAP Camino de Medio TM project to a COOP 2004-05 TM project to cover total expenditures of this project.)

Communications Funs (34)

Expenditures and other Financing Uses:

            Operating Expense                                                                                ($       5,300.00)

            Capital Expense                                                                                    $        5,300.00

(To adjust the Communications Fund, this Budget Adjustment Request will transfer from operating to capital to cover the purchase of a storage unit for new repeater.)
