RESOLUTION NO. 05-31

A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL ESTABLISHING AND APPROVING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006 FOR

THE TOWN OF TAOS

WHEREAS, the Governing Body in and for the Town of Taos, State of New Mexico has developed a budget for fiscal year 2005-2006; and

WHEREAS, said budget was developed on the basis of need and through cooperation with all user departments, elected officials and appropriate Department Heads; and

WHEREAS, the official meetings for the review of said documents were duly advertised in the Taos News and the local radio stations, in compliance with the State Open Meetings Act; and

WHEREAS, it is the majority opinion of this Council, the proposed Budget meets the requirements as currently determined for Fiscal Year 2005-2006.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Governing Body of the Town of Taos, State of New Mexico, hereby adopts the Budget herein above described, and respectfully requests approval from the Local Government Division of the Department of Finance and Administration.

RESOLVED, in Session, this 28^th , day of June, 2005, at the Regular Meeting of the Town Council, with 4 Council Members voting in the affirmative and with 0 voting in the negative.
