RESOLUTION NO. 05-39

A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TAOS ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF LAND FOR PURPOSE CONVEYING TITLE

WHEREAS, According to Town of Taos Municipal Code the director of the Public Works Department shall review proposed dedications for compliance with the Town Code and Town Policies; and

WHEREAS, The Town has the right to refuse to accept any public work that is not in compliance with applicable regulations and laws; and  

WHEREAS, The Director of the Public Works Department has evaluated the proposed dedication and has determined that it meets the requirements of the Code and any other applicable rules and regulations; and

WHEREAS, New Mexico State Land and Section 6-1.6 of the Town of Taos Land Use Development Code requires the Town Council to accept lands for public dedication by action of the Town Council; and 

WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Taos desires to accept such dedication.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Taos, that the dedication of the land identified and described by Exhibits "A" Dedication Agreement; Exhibit "B" Deed of Dedication, and Exhibit "C" Plat is hereby accepted.         

PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED, this 19^th  day of July 2005 at the Regular Meeting of the Town Council.
