  • Elected to a term (March, 2008 – March, 2012)
  • Resident of Taos for 30 Years
  • Currently Finance Coordinator at Rocky Mountain Youth Corps
  • Varied work experiences: worked in Taos as Office Manager, Bookkeeper and Finance Director for various employers since 1977
  • Born in Fairfax, Oklahoma
  • Father was a career Master Sergeant in the Air Force, so early years were at Edwards Air Force Base in California. Thereafter family (parent Ray & Joyce Mehl, Amy and 5 brothers and sisters) moved to Seattle, Washington
  • Graduated from Redmond High School in Redmond, Washington
  • Married to Steve G. Quintana, a native Taoseno, for 28 years prior to his passing away in 2004
  • One son, Jake Quintana, of Taos
