  1. Town of Taos Presents Movies on the Green

    June 26, 2019, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Taos Youth & Family Center Skating Rink

    This year the movies will be held at two different locations, the first three movies will be located at the Taos Youth & Family Center Skating Rink and weather permitting the final four will be located at Kit Carson Park. PLEASE NOTE: NEW TIME AND LOCATION. Taos Youth & Family Center Rink Movie Starts at 7PM • June 12th – The Lion King • June 19th – A Dog’s Purpose • June 26th – Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Kit Carson Park (Weather Permitting) • July 10th – Little Giants • July 24th – The Incredibles 2 • July 31st – The Goonies • August 7th – Mary Poppins Returns Get the family together and enjoy a fun-filled evening with movies at Taos Youth & Family Center Rink and Kit Carson Park. The movies start at 7:00 PM and are FREE to the public. Make sure to bring chairs, blankets and a picnic to make yourself comfortable. No alcohol permitted at either location.   2. Albuquerque BioPark comes to the Taos Youth & Family Center

    Albuquerque BioPark’s Discover the BioPark free outreach program, formerly known as Zoo To You is coming to the Taos Youth & Family Center on June 27, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Get eye to eye with beautiful birds, small mammals, amazing amphibians and reptiles. Zoo staff and volunteer teachers called docents will guide you through this traveling exhibit of animals and hands-on biofacts – including bones, pelts, feathers, shells and other interesting animal items – as you learn about conservation. Discover the BioPark is offered for audiences of all ages and encourages active participation and questions.
